In March 2025, J. Antonio DelCampo, partner at DelCampo, Grayson & Lopez, participated as a panelist at the 2025 Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA) Corporate Counsel Conference, held in Atlanta, Georgia.
Antonio contributed to the panel discussion titled “Professionalism Rules: Navigating the Pitfalls for In-House Counsel,” which addressed complex ethical and professionalism challenges unique to in-house attorneys. Topics included navigating conflicts of interest related to compensation, defining the “client,” understanding Upjohn warnings, mandatory disclosures of client misconduct, distinguishing between business and legal advice, and ethical considerations surrounding resignations and withdrawal from representation.
The panel was moderated by Glianny Fagundo, Partner at Thompson Hine, and featured distinguished legal professionals:
- Melissa Gomez Nelson, Partner, Dentons
- Juliee Conde-Medina, Manager Compliance Counsel, The Hershey Company
- Daniel R. Alonso, Shareholder, Vedder Price
Antonio’s insights, drawn from his extensive experience as a former State Court Judge and his current practice focusing on personal injury, medical malpractice, trucking accidents, and premises liability, added valuable perspective to the discussion.
We are proud of Antonio’s continued leadership and his commitment to upholding the highest standards of ethics and professionalism in the legal community.
